JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:  Advertising Fulfillment Associate

REPORTS TO:  Advertising Coordinator

SUMMARY: Prepares fabric swatches and swatching kits for sales reps, customers and office personal by performing the duties outlined below.           

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
 

Creates swatches and swatching kits which includes cutting, sewing, serging, gluing & grommeting.

• Fulfillment of orders from sales reps, customer service and office personnel by packing in appropriate size boxes, envelopes, and preparing to ship USPS and/or Fed Ex.
• Able to learn & recognize fabric numbers to ensure correct fabrics.
• Retrieve fabric rolls from the fabric warehouse when needed which requires lifting up to 40 lbs.
• In the supervisor’s absence, must be able to handle orders, phone calls and emails.

• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a detailed, organized manner plus the ability to adapt varied work assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus, not required

Machine or equipment that will be used daily to accomplish tasks:

• Sewing machine
• Serger
• Grommet machine
• Hand cutter for cutting bulk pieces of fabric for swatches/hang cards
• Transfer
• Wheeler
