Job Title: Machine Operator Administrator
Reports to: Cutting Supervisor
Summary: Operate manual cutting machine (knife) and administrative duties as required.
Other Essential functions of the job include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Gerber KNU C.A.D. operator
- Receive KNU fabric in the AS400
- Make I.D. tags AS400
- Email packing list to Leland (MS Plant) purchasing
- Communicate with Leland and Design Center both verbally and through email
- Translate Excel spread sheets into usable information to shop floor
Job requirements:
- Repetitive pulling, pinching and gripping with both hands
- Maintain consistent work pace
- Must be able to recognize defective fabric or inconsistency in the fabric & distinguish color variations
- Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
- Ability to work within a team
- Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
- Good Communication Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs or lines as production dictates
- Lifting weight: Occasional 50lbs
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent
